Equipment you can borrow

You may check out the following equipment at the first floor service desk of the library :

• laptop computers, power cords, mice, and floppy drives
• headphones
• wireless microphones
• USB mass storage devices
• Zip drives, cords, and disks
• cassette player instructions, player, and plug
• conference phones and external microphones
• transcriber, headphones, and foot pedal

Please note that effective June 15, 2006, the following applies to the above equipment:

• all technology equipment will be loaned out for 6 hour intervals
• technology equipment may not be taken out of the library
• all technology equipment will be due by library closing time, or 6 hours after checkout, whichever comes first
• the library will charge users $1 an hour for equipment that is returned late
• replacement costs for lost equipment will reflect the actual cost of the item (ask at desk for individual prices)
