Academic Search Premier

This multidisciplinary database indexes and provides full text for over 4,600 journals, including full text for more than 3,900 peer-reviewed titles.  PDF backfiles to 1975 or earlier are available for over 100 journals, and links to many additional full text articles are provided by means of the Article Linker feature.

Academic Search Premier can be accessed from the Databases page on the library's website, and it is also accessible from the Columbia University Libraries.  The Help option provides basic guidance on database components and search strategy and protocols.

For a comparable and complementary database, see ProQuest, accessible from the top page of our library's website and also through Columbia.  See the Knowledge Base article for more information on this resource.
