Lending Policy for Outside Institutions

Libraries may request circulating materials or articles owned by the Gottesman Libraries through interlibrary loan. Individuals who are not affiliated with Teachers College must submit requests through their local university, corporate, or community library.

We are members of OCLC (VVT) and participate in Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM). Our OCLC group affiliations include GNYS, NE@R, NEPU, OIU#, RMET, NYGC, GNYA, SHRS, ILLD, LVIS, and ZERO.

To borrow materials from the Gottesman Libraries, verify that the item is owned by searching EDUCAT.

We only accept requests placed through OCLC.  Libraries not participating in one of the groups listed above are invoiced at US $100.00 per filled request.
