Staff Picks: Pride, through JuneIn recognition of the 1969 Stonewall Riots in Manhattan and commemorative events around New York City and in our nation, Staff Picks features works, both fictional and research, on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues, concerns, identities, and communities. Its goal is to raise awareness and understanding of LGBT from a variety of contexts and perspectives. Examples drawn from the library's collections include Gender Outlaw, by Kate Bornean; That's So Gay!, by Kevin L. Nadal; The Principal's Challenge, by Nicholas J.Pace; And Tango Make Three, by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell; and I Am Jazz, by Jessica Hershel and Jazz Jennings.
