Pocket Picks: New Resources in PocketKnowledge (February)

The Gottesman Libraries is pleased to promote access to unique collections in PocketKnowledge, the social archive and digital repository for Teachers College. Now home to more than 33,000 items in the Gottesman Libraries archive; nearly 15,000 items in the Faculty collection; over 11,660 items in the History of Education collection; and many other resources, we highlight the Teachers College Bulletin.

The Teachers College Bulletin, sometimes known as the “course catalog" or “announcement”, is a rich source of information for those interested in our institutional history, academic programs, faculty, publications, student enrollments, and other things “TC”. Published annually from 1894 with occasional Sumer supplements, the Bulletin includes a description of the College’s mission; listing of all officers and faculty; fees; scheme of courses; fellowships, scholarships; and prizes; loan funds; buildings and equipment; library facilities; educational museum; residence halls; register of students; academic calendar; and much more.
