Printing, Copying, Scanning

Printing using NINJa (requires a UNI)

The Gottesman Libraries offers the same "NINJa" printing service that is available across the Columbia University campus. TC students get 20 free pages of printing per week on this system. For additional pages, the cost is 10 cents/sheet (US Legal, B&W only). Students can upgrade their weekly quota to 100 pages/week for the semester for $35 by visiting 234 HM (during regular business hours).

Printing for Library Guests

Anyone without a UNI (Columbia University ID) may use the Business Services Center located in 34 Zankel Hall. They offer color printing and copying services, as well as fax and other business services.

About our Scanning Stations (1st Floor & 3rd Floor)

Please use our free scanning stations in room 105 RH and at the entrance to the 3rd Floor. They have 50-page feeders and can scan color documents. Files can be saved to a USB drive or emailed to you.

About our Copy Stations (2nd Floor)

You can make copies at the photocopy machines near the entrance to the second floor. To purchase copies, you need a Flexcard which is available from the Value Transfer Station available near the 2nd floor elevators (minimum $5 cash deposit for a new card; students can use their ID). Only black & white, US Letter (8.5" x 11") copying is available at 15 cents/page.
