Printing using your UNI (University Network ID)

The Gottesman Libraries offers the same "CUIT Printing" service that is available across the Columbia University campus. TC students get 20 free pages of printing per week on the CUIT system. For additional pages, the cost is 10 cents/sheet (B&W only). Students can upgrade their weekly quota to 100 pages/week for the semester for $35 by visiting 234 HM (during regular business hours).

• How to use: From any computer in the library (Mac or PC) choose "russell100a" from the printer selection menu. Go to the printer on the first floor to confirm and release your print job.


• Please note that you can only print on standard (8.5"x11") paper.

Printing for Library Guests

Anyone without a UNI (University Network ID) can print using a Flexcard. Guests can acquire and add money to a Flexcard on the 2nd floor (elevator lobby) and print to the guest printers "RH1" (first floor) and "RH2" (second floor). The cost is 15 cents/sheet (8.5"x11" paper, B&W only).

About our Copy Stations (2nd and 3rd Floors)

You can make copies (15 cents/sheet, B&W only) on the second floor (coins, $1 bills, and Flexcard accepted) and on the third floor (Flexcard only). Acquire a Flexcard or add money to your student TC ID at the Value Transfer Station available near the 2nd floor elevators ($5, $10 or $20 bills only).

About our Scanning Station (1st Floor)

Please use our free scanning station in room 105 RH. It has a 50-page feeder and can scan color documents. Files can be saved to a USB drive, emailed to you, or sent to your mobile device.
