Are you a Teachers College student, and, if so, what are you studying?
Yes I am! I’m a second year student in the School Psychology Ph.D. program.
Where’s your hometown?
I’m from Fairfield, CT (but I did live in Greenwich Village until I was 4…I just don’t remember a lot of it).
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be either a teacher, a writer, or a musician.
What was your first job?
My first job was playing rehearsal piano for a high school theater camp. This was a really fun time, and I ended up being the music director of that camp for 3 summers!
What has been your best job?
Along with working at the library, I’m currently a piano teacher and I absolutely love it! Seeing my students learn and grow as musicians and as people is incredibly rewarding.

Are you a morning or night person?:
I’m DEFINITELY a night person.

The strangest thing I’ve ever done is…
My friends and I took a spontaneous road trip to Nashville when our college was evacuated due to an impending hurricane. We went there to visit another one of our friends, and I actually ended up bringing her back with us to become my new roommate!
The most fascinating person I’ve ever met is…
My grandmother! Along with being caring, intelligent, funny, and loving, she was a children’s author (Patricia Reilly Giff if you want to check anything out) who wrote over 100 books.
