We are pleased to offer the following workshops in January:
  • Rough Seas? Navigating Your Research Topic, Thursday, 1/26, 3-4pm
  • Do you have a challenging topic? Not sure how to articulate it, or which research resources might be most helpful? You're finding too little... or too much...or you just can't seem to get what you need? Worry, no more. Talking about your topic helps! This workshop takes you through the research process and shows how to construct a good search, using a variety of different tools and approaches. With a few tips and tricks, you will be sailing smoothly into Spring! Come aboard and rsvp by Tuesday, 1/24 with your interest and details. Where: 302 Russell
  • Preparing for On-Campus Interviews, Monday, 1/23, 3:30-5pm
  • In these sessions, participants who are preparing for On-campus/Skype/conference interviews will have an opportunity to work with faculty to refine their interview skills and/or materials. Participants who are interested in attending are encouraged to bring drafts of their job-talks or teaching presentations for revision. One-on-one mock interviews will be available, as well. Participants must sign up in advance. This workshop is part of the Career Development Program co-sponsored by the Department of Arts and Humanities, which is open primarily to Ph'D/EdD students in Arts and Humanities and Curriculum and Teaching.
