(Association of Computing Machinery) is a research, discovery and networking platform containing the full-text collection of all ACM publications, including journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines, newsletters and books; a collection of curated and hosted full-text publications from select publishers; the ACM Guide to Computing Literature, a comprehensive bibliographic database focused exclusively on the field of computing; and richly interlinked set of connections among authors, works, institutions, and specialized communities.
, provided by Sage, comprehensively covers communication-related articles, reports, papers, and books from a variety of publishers, research institutions, and information sources world-wide. Coverage includes communication literature and literature in other related disciplines, such as international literature in film studies, role of technology in human communications, risk communications, crisis communication and public opinions.
Communications and Mass Media
is a Gale database for communication and media studies. It brings together information found in more than 400 journals, with nearly 3 million articles on all aspects of the communications field, including advertising, public relations, linguistics, and literature.
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) contains the full text of all IEEE, IEE, and IET journal articles, conference papers, and standards published since 1988, with selected content dating back to 1913. IEEE Xplore also includes ancillary material from the printed publication such as letters to the editor, editorial boards, and calls for papers. Material can be accessed through a searchable database or by browsing.
(Educational Resources Information Center) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to educational-related literature. In addition, ERIC provides coverage of conferences, meetings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, bibliographies, directories, books and monographs. The information is included in two files: RIE (Resources in education) and CIJE (Current index to journals in education).

provides comprehensive coverage of an international range of English-language periodicals, monographs and yearbooks. Indexing coverage begins June 1983; abstracts are included beginning spring 1994; full text of some journals is available beginning Jan. 1996. With coverage dating back to the mid-1960s, it is the oldest continuously produced database covering the field of information science.
is an Eslevier database for scientific research that contains abstracts, tables of contents, and full text of articles in the sciences, technology, medicine and social sciences.
