Workshop: If We Knew What We Were Doing..., Thursday, 5/30, 3-4pm

104b Russell

The great physicist Albert Einstein once explained, "If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research." Right?

This workshop introduces you to the basics of library research so you can navigate through important resources like catalogs, databases, and federated search engines to find what you need and also explore different options for searching. Come one, come all, but please come with your topic, as well as device (laptop, iPad, or phone) to this hands-on session! We'll provide some tips and tricks on how to construct a good search, while guiding you through the essential tools.

Interested persons may rsvp by Tuesday, May 28th with their details.
