Announcing Paging and Pick Up

Announcing Paging and Pick Up

Curbside, starting August 24th

The Gottesman Libraries is pleased to announce Paging and Pick Up to facilitate access to print collections by current members, as we look forward to phased reopening of Russell Hall.

Members of Teachers College and Columbia University may request paging and pick up of books and other resources held within the circulating collections.

To request this service please use the drop down menu in Ask a Librarian (online support). Select “Paging and Pick Up” to enter your details, including name, UNI, publication information, and call number as indicated in EDUCAT, the library catalog.

Materials will be retrieved by library staff in the order received, typically within a day or two.

Patrons will be notified via online support as soon as an item is retrieved and placed on HOLD. The item will be held under your name, typically for 8 days.

Beginning August 24th, 2020, items may be picked up during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with select staff onsite to assist.

Please message us via online chat, call 212-678-3494, or use online support when you arrive on campus. We will greet you with the paged material, and check it out accordingly.

Proof of current TC identification is necessary, as is a mask and compliance with College policy and procedures for safe access.

Questions or concerns may be submitted via online support or chat messaging.
