Submitting Requests

Ant_Avatar_GL.jpegAs we look toward the Summer semester, we’d like to share some important information with regard to the preparation of readings for Course Reserves.

Gottesman Libraries encourages faculty to utilize TC SuperSearch and CU QuickSearch to find articles and incorporate stable links, but will provide assistance with linking to electronic resources for Course Reserve use. Assistance with finding links to library-held materials for personal research may be obtained via online chat or online support, and you may contact us for further details, or if you have any questions.

E-Reserve items can be added to Canvas course modules or pages for student access. Copying content from a Canvas course into a new course shell will copy previously added library resource links. Instructions on this process can be found here.

Between April 19th and June 17th, you may request multiple items for Summer 2021 E-Reserves with the Course Reading List form. The form will be made available on the library’s Course Reserves page. Please submit one request per course. Deputies and Course Assistants may request materials on your behalf.

We will continue to prioritize ebook acquisitions for course reserves, and will scan material from physical books on reserve unavailable in digital formats. Scan requests will be reviewed by library staff. For information about the Library’s Copyright Policy, including a flowchart on copyright and Course Reserves, please see here
