Important Announcement: Course Resource Lists
Getting Ready for Fall 2022
As we prepare for the upcoming Fall 2022 semester, we would like to share this reminder that the Gottesman Libraries has a new, permanent Course Reserves platform and collaborative tool, Course Resource Lists.
Following our launch in the Spring 2022 term, library Course Reserves are now delivered directly into individual, credit-bearing courses in Canvas, via a Course Resource List link.
Among the benefits of the new platform are:
- Easy searching and retrieval of resources from the library catalog, Educat+, avoiding manual updates by instructors while enabling maximum use of library resources
- Flexibility to shape and refresh syllabi with or without templates
- Retention and roll over of lists to subsequent academic terms
- Direct communication with the library from within Course Resource Lists with regard to acquisitions, links, and more
- Information about and communication with students from within Course Resource Lists
Workshops and individual consultations are being offered by the Gottesman Libraries, and sponsored by the Digital Futures Institute, throughout the Fall 2022 term with information posted to the library news and message boards.
Upcoming Workshops:
August 17, 2022, 3-4pm – Introduction to Course Resource Lists for Instructors
September 29, 2022, 3-4pm – Introduction to Course Resource Lists for Instructors
October 13, 2022, 3-4pm – Introduction to Course Resource Lists for Instructors
