Art in the Digisphere

Offit Gallery, 360

In case you could not make it to the Offit Gallery, or for the digital record, we are pleased to announce panoramic renderings of recent art exhibitions. Beginning in the Fall of 2024, and with a full schedule of gallery shows planned for the Spring Semester, we now offer 360 degree capture.

The Digital Futures Institute of Teachers College, Columbia University introduced Ricoh as a smart tool that understands space and also integrates well with Terminalfour,  the content management system of Teachers College. Special thanks are owed to Lucius Von Joo, Associate Director of Design Education, Digital Futures Institute, and Instructor of Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design at Teachers College,  who recorded and edited our first two Offit Gallery exhibits: Let Me Think About It, by Carina Maye, on display, September 6 - October 20, and Food in Art: Delicious Inspiration, October 21 - November 21.

Stayed tuned for more digital captures that will be linked to news of gallery openings -- and also be sure to visit the Offit Gallery, as well as the first and second floors for in-person experiences of current exhibitions -- respectively, Growth, Part Three: Selections from the Ziegfeld Collection of International Children's Art and Tools and Toys: Paper Mechatronics.

Digital Capture of Let Me Think About It  and Digital Capture of Food in Art: Delicious Inspiration are provided by the Digital Futures Institute, Teachers College, Columbia University.  Requests for accommodations may be submitted via online support.
