What do Gertrude Colby, Margaret H'Doubler, Martha Hill, Jody Arnhold, and Barbara Bashaw have in common?  As pioneers in dance education, they are all connected --  as instructors and/or students --  to Teachers College, and have brought their innovative practices over the years to embrace the diverse and expansive philosophy of "dance for all."  In 2018 Teachers College went on to launch an exciting, new doctoral program in dance education, and just about a year ago opened a brand new, state of the art dance studio.

In December, we highlight research resources in dance education, including studies of embodied learning, dance and human development, and historical foundations - all of which shape learning, teaching, and research across diverse global contexts.
