Interactive Installation: Wishing Wind Chimes, by Brandy Coleman

Kasser Family Exhibition Space

Wishing Wind Chimes is an interactive installation made from recycled boxes, cans, and bells. Visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and choose a wish they want to send out into the world.

Each path presents a different hope: Love or Wealth.

After writing a wish, visitors tie it to the matching wind chime, where it becomes part of a growing collection of shared intentions. As the chimes move and the bells ring, the wishes are carried on the wind, blending personal hope with sound, motion, and the nature of the environment.

This installation is created by Brandy Coleman, a graduating MA student in Dr. Holbert's MSTU 5199 Designing for Play & Learning class.  Says Brandy, "It would be amazing to see people interact with my design and experience the whimsy of wishing during these stressful times (finals week)."
