Teachers College Alumni are welcome to use the Gottesman Libraries resources, both print and online, within Russell Hall for no fee. A photo ID must be presented to the Security guard in Zankel Building for entrance to the campus, and Alumni must first visit the Alumni Affairs Office to procure documentation needed by the Security Office for access to the Gottesman Libraries. Alumni may purchase borrowing privileges for books for $30.00 per month, payable online.
Teachers College alumni have access to all Columbia University-wide Alumni E-Resources. Please visit: http://library.columbia.edu/services/using-libraries/alumni.html
Teachers College Alumni may have full access to PocketKnowledge, the digital repository and social archive for Teachers College.
Alumni who wish to access PocketKnowledge should first set up an PocketKnowledge account, and send an email to the Office of Alumni Relations asking for "University-level access" to PocketKnowledge. In their email to the Alumni Office, they should include:
1) First and Last Name
2) Year of Graduation from TC
3) The email they used to set up a PocketKnowledge account.
After the Office of Alumni Relations confirms the above information and provides the relevant documentation, the Gottesman Libraries provides University-level access.
Alumni are welcome to use library scanners for the purpose of uploading self-authored materials into PocketKnowledge.
